About Yazoo Enterprises

In 1988, fueled by a vision and a passion for the oilfield industry, Charlie Meismer laid the foundation of our company. Operating out of Charlie’s garage, what began as a drill pipe protector rental service soon evolved into a stalwart presence in the sector. Through the years, Kyle Meismer and Wade Meismer weathered the storms of industry downturns and embraced the opportunities presented during the upturns in the oilfield market.

Our story is one of determination and family legacy. In 2007, Charlie Meismer entrusted the company’s reins to his two sons upon retirement. This transition marked not only a change in leadership but a continuation of the values and principles instilled by our founder.

The name ‘Yazoo’ carries a special significance for Kyle Meismer and Wade Meismer. Rooted in family heritage, it pays homage to our mother’s origins in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Our grandparents played a pivotal role in getting the business off the ground in the early days, solidifying the familial bonds at the core of our success.
